Jokilaakson Juusto has earned a bronze medal in its first participation in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment. EcoVadis is an international organization that assesses corporate sustainability across environmental, social, ethical, and sustainable procurement practices. The bronze medal is a noteworthy acknowledgment of the company’s dedication to sustainable development.
CEO Esa Luomanperä remarked on the achievement: “We are extremely satisfied with the bronze medal we have secured. This clearly shows that we are on the right path in our sustainability efforts.”
Quality Manager Johanna Jokinen also noted: “Earning a bronze medal on our first EcoVadis assessment is a promising beginning. Our aim for the next evaluation is to elevate our performance and demonstrate an even stronger commitment to sustainability.”
Jokilaakson Juusto is committed to upholding high sustainability standards and continuing to enhance them. The company also recently achieved an AA rating in its BRC audit.
